Carlo's Barbershop II opened in Broadview Heights in 2005, under the ownership of Roberto Gangale and Carlo Jr. The first Carlo's Barbershop was opened in 1969 by Carlo Sarti Sr., an Italian immigrant, and served Garfield Heights until 2022.
Six barbers work this shop during the week: Carlo Sr., Carlo Jr., Roberto, Bill, Mike and Sarah. Carlo Sr., “Senior,” is still on the schedule on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and he's still one of the best when it comes to tapered square backs.
The shop is open Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is closed Sunday and Monday. Call (440) 838-0738 with any question, or read the full family story.
